Knock on the Coffin Lid

Buying the DLC
Loving the game and want to buy the DLC but Im seeing alot of warnings about it. Do I have to reset to play it? or If I beat the game with all 3 heroes while retaining my current progress will I still be able to access the DLC?

The reset is optional, so you don't have to do it.

The reason for doing it, is because they reworked basically all Events in an Update January 2025.

If you've played before that you could reset, so that the new and old Events don't lead to any Bugs, but otherwise there is no need to do so.

You can still enjoy the DLC but you will have to beat Millenis with each character and also choose to share Mortis on Vanadis playthrough first.

That will unlock the Tarot cards, aka the DLC

What you're really losing through the reset, is the event progress. Depending on your patience, a reset could be better as it likely avoids bugs that way. You do keep your unlocked classes, cards etc.
I personally just reran normal mode a couple of times to get some events updated again, as running some of the Tarot cards without certain events being completed is a pain in the ass.

Edit: I did read a post somewhere that you can access the DLC regardless. The only real requirement is having beat the game with all 3 characters with their "good" endings

So I got the DLC and its great. Its basically the continuation of the story. You'll have to first get all the good endings with each character. After that, the story progresses. You do not lose your character level or card progress, but some of the world event knowledge might change after so you'll have to 'reset' that.

You don't reset your exploration, your character, your items, or your cards. So get it and enjoy the new story and challenges.
