I usually remove her double damage second while I am buffing up since playing so many talents it is easy to avoid triggering her burning of your cards so that can be saved for last.
Also, if you choose any of the other 3 ways to survive her instakill *other than ichor* then you will still be able to heal (although two of them require your chest slot and one of those makes blocking somewhat trickier).
Lastly, if you really want to make your life easy you can save a boar leg or a stack of health potions and safely upgrade your whole deck at the altar in the last zone, which is what I generally do in challanges mode. Sometimes just having a slightly higher base amount of block can help keep you alive till you can get all your scaling active after that first mark goes down.
I hope some of that made sense.
And if you really want it tearfully easy play gold digger and use the elf set and purifier shield (I think is the name)
So, the Ichor is what prevents healing after surviving her kill attack! I didn't know that.. I'll just grab an ally at the Bandit Camp and sacrifice them. But skip the Ichor. I have the password for the Golem and can get that armor. I'll try that too.
Yes, the Elf items make the game a lot easier. I love that set.
I'll try again.
I've beaten the game with the other 2 characters already. Bjorn was the easiest of them all.
Thank you!
- Hold off using talents till you remove the positive effects curse in the final battle.
- The double shield of the orc champion is a life saver if you cant get enough of the elven set.
- The archmage is very very useful if you dont want to destroy the golem.
Build wise? So far I have best luck with Gold Digger Percival, and using Shield Of Purification with Amazing Combo of Grimoire Of Mite, that removes all your curses and status cards, meaning all your Greed cards turns into burn without needing to pay the price, what then gives you burn stacks with Shield Of Purification. And turning into block.
Damage wise, Just spam lot of money and use the Money wallet attack. Or constantly stack Piercing damage, and let the Shield Of Purification handle the rest.
But so far? Still looking for new builds, and I can save to say, you better off trying unlocking & beating the Challenges of Percival
I finally beat her. I used Percival's first class and made sure I had Notch and Gain 2 Strength if the enemy plans to attack, both upgraded. Plus Block cards that increased agility when used. My sets were nothing special BUT I did have the Fire Brothers armour and hat which gave me immunity to burning.
I had the Champion's Sword and some form of boots and shield along with The Orc Amulet. I used the Mite Ichor and sacrificed an ally as well.
The scaling was pretty good with the character, both in terms of strength and block and I got through it pretty well. Had an ally with me as well. If you have the Golem and someone else (i.e. the dying bandit you can save) when you go to the altar, the game picks the first ally - the Golem - for the sacrifice.
Anyway.. Happy to have that completed!
