Knock on the Coffin Lid

Knight needs some work
The knight is insanely trash, you need to go to bandit camp to get your ally and get the bandit which means your kinda forced down a certain path everytime, mercy is insanely useless and takes up a ring slot and has a 99 percent fail rate and only works on specific mobs, his passive is insanely bad >80 percent health and u get 1 energy and 2 str and Agi, thats not per turn so you can stack the str and agi. Idk if its suppose to be per turn but its just plus 2 str and 2 agi thats it. Also like 8 items he can get and every run i find MAYBE 1 item and guess what, they work only if over 80 percent health. Want some heal when your low? Nah only heals you when at 80 percent or more health when your not concerned about healing as much. Very odd class, Gold class is busted as hell and this is the opposite

I got a dwarf. Going toward the crimson steppes.
Cant say he is very strong but he gets the (hidden) buff from dwarves of fury.

Not surprisingly, having an ally you can't control makes lowering opponent under 20% health much harder.

So far, trying to Mercy wolves, Troll and Lycan has failed miserably.

yea the companion has already killed me on the bridge... first attack by my "friend" hit the bomb and insta killed me in 2 turns... yay AI. Knight so far is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for sure. There is no redeeming quality of it at any point. The companion spell should at the very least cost nothing so you can use it more often when you get someone's HP low.

Yep, I stand corrected, it need some work.
I crossed two acts (starter and crimson) and only managed to capture this single Berzerker.
Despite attempting at every combat.
Maybe having one ally out is blocking the taming of a new one.

Second major problem is the ring of mercy taking the place of .... a ring. The only socket providing Energy.
Third major problem is that if you unequip the ring for one combat, not only can you no longer mercy (logic) but you can no longer summon your ally either (absurd).

Minor problem : set aquisition. Its very hard to get any set in this game but in the Knight tooltip, it is said to be mandatory.

There need to be a bonus roll when you are wearing a set to drop more of the same set.

ehh he seems decent on a power level as far as I can tell. the companion you talk about funnily enough is not even exclusive to the knight and anyone can take them.

it would be nice if the mercy card itself wasn't tied to an artifact slot though, there's no way you'll be keeping it past the 1st zone because you'll always pick up something way more useful after that boss (sometimes even before)

also another annoying thing about the "mercy" card is that it only works on a very small number of enemies but you have no indication of which ones those are. it'll cost you an energy to use as well and when it does nothing at all it's just not a fun experience

Its a random chance for generic enemies. Bosses and stuff just don't bother. But it's a random chance I believe of surrender, run away, or to death. I've gotten all three results on the same units I tried it on. There are several "named/special" allies you can get. Bandit you can save with the healing potion, elf from the bandit camp, orc with the hammer, brother of fire zombie knight, (alternatively I've also seen a dwarf from the bandit camp as well), the golem, and the wolf.

I really wish the summons/allies gained health and stuff because some of them just have like 40 health and get one shot, its insane.

This class is definitely horrible.

To be clear. The Class is fine. The Mercy Ring mechanic is trash. The Class Items for most classes arent that good.

No the class is bad, the class relies heavily on getting any ally as ur cards buff them, the buffs on the allies are pretty bad as well. Which requires the mercy ring which is trash as you said. That said all of the class is pretty trash, including the passive, rerolling all your cards is about the best thing you can get at the start of a run.

The knight is totally fine. He's weak at the beginning, like all Percival classes, but once he gets some equipment and cards he starts rolling even without allies. Knight and veteran are my favorite Percival classes.
