Cant say he is very strong but he gets the (hidden) buff from dwarves of fury.
Not surprisingly, having an ally you can't control makes lowering opponent under 20% health much harder.
So far, trying to Mercy wolves, Troll and Lycan has failed miserably.
I crossed two acts (starter and crimson) and only managed to capture this single Berzerker.
Despite attempting at every combat.
Maybe having one ally out is blocking the taming of a new one.
Second major problem is the ring of mercy taking the place of .... a ring. The only socket providing Energy.
Third major problem is that if you unequip the ring for one combat, not only can you no longer mercy (logic) but you can no longer summon your ally either (absurd).
Minor problem : set aquisition. Its very hard to get any set in this game but in the Knight tooltip, it is said to be mandatory.
There need to be a bonus roll when you are wearing a set to drop more of the same set.
it would be nice if the mercy card itself wasn't tied to an artifact slot though, there's no way you'll be keeping it past the 1st zone because you'll always pick up something way more useful after that boss (sometimes even before)
also another annoying thing about the "mercy" card is that it only works on a very small number of enemies but you have no indication of which ones those are. it'll cost you an energy to use as well and when it does nothing at all it's just not a fun experience
