Does the dev know the definition of haggling ?

Demon ask for 500 gold. I have 1000. I start the option Haggling. The demon at the city door take ALL my gold instead of 500 or less.

By no definition of haggling whatsoever do you start paying a higher price (all your gold) than what you started.
The option should be renamed "Haggling (give all your gold)"

it ruined my run really.
