[BUG(?)] Golem Core

I have the password option, i USE the password, i only have the option to the golem follow me OR he give me a item (the plant to give the desert pipe guy)

I need its core to make the armor...
Is my game bugged? IF HE FOLLOWS ME AND DIE HE DON'T DROP HIS CORE JUST TESTED.

I've gotten the core by killing the golem. You can do this if you go into the swamp and eat the ghost mushrooms until you die. On rez, you'll have instantiability that you can use to survive the first blows. If you take the golem to the blacksmith, he does nothing?

I don't wanna to frustate myself again and learn the he don't do anything.
Is like the 7 time i'm trying to do this.
Here the creator of the game say when i have the password i can get the core, but that's a lie how do i get the option to turn off and get the core? It still exist?
Maybe i will do the long path and get the swamp mushroom...

[EDIT] i WILL tryout bring the golem to the blacksmith, some one said he make an amor I don't know if is [[THE AMOR]] to pass the phase of the final boss.

If you have the core, then the blacksmith makes the armor. I'm assuming if you bring the golem he can extract the core and make the armor, but I've never done it myself.

The demon blacksmith doesn't extract the core if you bring the golem with you.

This might be a bug but I didn't get the core when I killed the golem the first time. I assume you need to get the information from the demon smith first Though you might also need to get the information from the traveling merchant about the golem. Ask the demon smith to build up something special. Then you can try to defeat the golem or turn him off if you know or can figure out the right code. After that there will be a golem core as reward.

Mhh i brought the core to the smith (which wasn't all that easy since that damn bugger has a chance to randomly zaps me for 15 damage on the first card i play every turn , comes with an unremoveable 2 cost card that deals 50 dmg to all (including you) if you don't play it and blocks the artifact slot) but had no option to make armor (only pet armor, reforge equipment which did not allow me to select the core or leave) even though i had the task to go to the smith to reforge the golem core and he was marked on the map with a crown....
