Knock on the Coffin Lid

Knight persival and lunge
What is the point of Knight Persival's lunges? Their base effect is to cast call to arms on allied characters (not Persival himself) but as far as I can tell, there's no way to get an allied character for anything other than a very small number of event fights, and then for the final fight, where Mortis can't benefit from it because he doesn't attack. Upgrading them also increases the amount of stacks it adds to the allies, but what's the point of doing that?

I'd also query the balance on Knight Persival in general, as his class effect (bonus energy as long as you're above 80%hp) is mostly support for his secondary effect (cards don't shuffle when returned to the draw pile, drawing only attack-skill-attack-skill patterns heals for 10 and adds 2 energy) meaning that you have to spend the 4 energy in such a way as to play an equal number of skills and attacks, which means you often need to guard needlessly, or attack when it's disadvantageous (the boar encounter in the forest highlights this well). Since you lack any other way to control your deck at the start of the game, drawing badly (4 guards and a lunge, for example) you can be stuck with a bad deck layout and no way to fix it. As well, because you lack a means to get HP outside of this, once you drop below 80% of your HP, it's very difficulty to make your way back to having the 4 energy you need to be able to heal. This sets him firmly in the slot of weakest class that I've played so far, and the only one that I can't even get past the second area with.

Hello! Indeed, there is some misunderstanding with the Knight's companions. The point is that this class is really based on the fact that you have a companion, but at the moment the companion system is not complete. In the future, this class should be revealed in full force.

Comments on the balances and mechanics of maps are passed on to our team. Thanks!
