How do I even start this game?
I bought this expecting an interesting physics based other-worldly puzzle game. Instead I appear to be stuck in some grim psychedelic nightmare of garish colours and obnoxious shouting music with no idea if this is 'the game' or some broken intro that just goes on and on. It's nothing like the game in the videos and screenshots, I have no idea what to do and the music is so gratingly awful I just want to take my headset off immediately.

Yes, I know this sounds like I'm some kind of simpleton but can I skip this nonsense, and if so, how?

Having thought a bit more about this it's clear that whatever game design decisions have gone into the intro clearly aren't my cup of tea. So I've refunded rather than fumble my way through other similar issues later on. Looks great on the videos tho :)

You refunded the game based on the 3 minute "intro"? Wow. I just played the first hour today. Amazing experience in every way. Maybe excluding the intro ;)

As I've played the game for about an hour now I can say that refunding it was the wrong choice.

This "intro" really wasn't a good idea, maybe without vocals and just music it would have been better. I'd suggest to just lay down the headset get a coffee or something and then come back after the nonesense is over. If you ever intend to purchase it again of course ^^

This intro, I have no idea why it's there, has absolutely nothing in common with the game itself besides physics and graphics.

I can't believe he didn't want to wait 3 minutes and instead he went to forum and wrote something that took longer time than waiting. I enjoyed intro, was playing with those weird shaped things.

The intro music and the tape player are recurring themes in the game. It's debatable whether the music was a good choice (I absolutely loathe this kind of Japanese pop-rock music), but "nothing in common" is not accurate.

Another recurring theme is the waiting around. Sometimes things don't progress based on your actions, but based on some sort of timer, which sometimes makes these moments a bit drawn out or confusing (on first play through you won't know whether you have to do something to move things along or if you have to wait for something to happen).

But going back to the OP, honestly, not being able to at least sit through the intro is peak short attention span.

I'm not sure if I remember it correctly but isnt it possible to simply skip the intro? I remember a question like "Do you want to listen to some music while you wait?". Not sure if clicking on no will simply skip it but I do remember this option.

@Krazon if the player leave the intro by using the pause menu, it is then possible to select the first chapter once in the main menu. But in that case the player will miss the glitch! (the intro is not that long, 2mn)
