General Fixes before booting the game.

Now I know why this game had mixed reviews and some refunded. So TL;DR it's not optimize not even patch to fix it you need to do it manually.

>go to your graphics card control panel. Nvidia AMD...etc
>Go To Manage 3D settings
>Click the tab program settings
>Add Onnechanbara EXE found on SteamApps-Common folder
>Adjust low latency to Ultra and Framerate 60 or greater

IF the game still crashes, which in many cases after the first boss or just playing you need to put Vsync to FAST.

IF as well probably rare case your game becomes Japanese or another language all of a sudden.

On the menu screen go to the 2nd last panel

RB or Select the cogwheel which is the settings option and select the 3rd option which is "Display Languages Settings"

Pick the 2nd option, though it will be in another language it's the English language option

The game has been updated to ver.1.01
So far as I tested framerate issues are fixed, some people said they still have crashes just put Vsync to FAST as seen in the guide, also some AMD RTX users having problems.

If anyone is having trouble with the frames looking like its 30 fps, you can go into the config.ini and manually change the fps there to fix it. It's located in

SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/OneeChanbara Origin/GameData folder.

The Config.ini is all the way at the bottom. Just change the value of the fps and save the file and you should be fine.

It still crashed for me, on an AMD card, but here is my advice to fix it as a temporary workaround:

add the game to the radeon games manager.

turn on "enhanced sync" under refresh rate

Also, turn on "freesynch"

I had to do an extra step: Turn on "frame rate target control" to 61. having the games internal synch default to 60 means forcing it out by one single frame will allow it to run as intended, as it bounces back into 60fps.

The intro is unskipable, but it will get past it and run as intended.

Just booted for the first time and it crashed right after the opening video finished. God, even on menu, it's stuttering at 45. I already had these settings on my computer. Minus v sync. Gonna try that. CPU usage barely tapping 10-14 across cores.

I had the game crash after the opening video. Went in and delete the file now it works fine till the 1st boss. That's when I tried the vsync to fast and it fixed the problem. Games running at a very solid 80 fps as well. Hopefully this helps people get passed the opening.

Yeah the fixed worked great still crashes but I hope they release a patch soon. I dont wanna play the game knowing its gonna crash anytime while I play the game.

you should be able to get past it if delete the movie. its dumb but it skips it and goes into loading the level.

The game has been updated to ver.1.02
I dunno what are the changes, but it was updated, but I do suggest do the basic trouble shooting steps if you're still having trouble with the game.

From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files button.

IF it doesn't work try the general fixes before booting the game.
