Language not English by default

Can anyone help out. A few days before launch a patch was released which as far as I can see has only defaulted the game to what I assume is Japanese. With also having an RTX GPU, the game isnt running. There are supposed fixes out there but before I try any of that, could someone please graphically talk me through how to navigate to language settings, to default to English?!

Also, for anyone who might not have thought of it, Google Lens is pretty good at translating text on the fly now. I used my phone to navigate the menus. It's pretty odd that the default language is set to Japanese tho.

i can read kana and i still couldn't find it and then their font for kanji is unrecognizable too

Check if the game is set to English in Steam, too.
Right click on game and then somewhere under properties.
