How do I change my outfits?

I'm trying to figure out how to change my outfits, am I not able to in story mode?

You're not supposed to change your outfits on your fist playthrough but there's a workaround. Beat at least a couple chapters to unlock chapter select, choose a chapter to replay and it will take you to the character customization screen where you can change your outfit. Now go back to story mode and your outfit should still be there.
