You can only use GCOIN if you have played the game for certain amount of time, have still not figured out what the minimum required time is.
That's what their news guide says.

Some peeps have not been able to do it even at lvl 140+, and they are not on steam.


Steam users have a separate account automatically generated for Atlantica Online NA, so you can only get gcoin and item mall stuff for steam if you login to the game from steam and use item mall from there.

There is no requirement to buying GCOINS, besides having access to real money that you can send them without knowing if you can do with their currency anything.

Steam overlay works fine for me for this game (win10), maybe because you aren't in fullscreen, most likely the issue is because how OS win10 handles the game window mode, thus steam overlay ends up broken. Or maybe you have disabled some default features steam app uses.

Also it takes a while to open the link, i you can open the overlay, then you only need to wait for it to load, Valofe homepage servers are crap.

Albeit there is some sort of hidden mechanic in terms when you can actually use coins to purchase stuff, you can spend money to get gcoins, but you can't use them until you meet that hidden requirement, that min lvl 80 thing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, unless you need for the game to check for that, maybe when a maintenance comes by or whatever.

You could also maybe try disabling overlay for the game, and maybe the item mall will open in your browser instead. I've used a browser too, but you had to have that specific super long ass link to do so, that I was able to copy when the page in overlay was still loading.

I do not really mind all these delays, amount limits etc. Makes it seem like twelve year old amateurs are running their web sites, but it's not a game breaker for me.

What I do think is appalling is taking real life money with the usual 'no refunds' bollards and specifically "no indication it cannot be spent in game". You cannot use it! That to me is a scam, a con, thieves at work.

Imagine if you went into Tesco/Walmart, spent 30 pounds/dollars on a can of baked beans only to be told, thanks for the money, but you cannot have the beans for a week. WITH NO WARNING BEFOREHAND.

im lv147 currently, and the pc is fresh out of a box ROG gaming tabletop, its just the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2010 they got going on, and valofe itself is just utter donkeypuke when it comes to maintaining the game/homepage

it was a mix of fiddling with firewall/avast and internet explorer (yeah.. IE caused majority of issues.. like really wtf?) was not expecting IE to cause anything since well.. havent used IE in years.. but i got it solved.

As for the original question, to my knowledge you need to have finished the tutorial, and have spent 72 hours in game to be able to use the IM.

72 hours. I know that the tutorial had to be completed for the item mall to open. But 72 hours to play the game.
Guess it's a lie that you have to be lvl 80, or maybe they forgot that 72 hours was thing, considering how slow it was to lvl up originally.

Did you not read the answer to the thread?

Besides that, do not buy anything from their homepage for the game, for your character, you can't access it until you have that amount of time spent in the game. (there went my 50 bucks)

So either it is just the lvl 100 upgrade quest or also 72 hours spent ingame.
