Since it's still a demo at the moment, I'd wait and see what else comes :)

The only thing that bothers me a little: I find the fishing reel sounds a little too quiet, even at 100% in-game, but these are minor things :pikefish:

Oh okay, I hope it stays as realistic as it is, or maybe even a little harder :pikefish:

I thought it was very good that there aren't any overly large fish (at least for now, I don't know what will happen next), I think it's very realistic the way it is now, of course you can catch a 20 kilo++ now and then, but that should be the exception

The last thing you need in fishing games is another game where you constantly catch everything without really doing anything for it.

I know, I'm expecting too much :steamhappy::GoldLike:

Awesome video KP! I'm sure the dev will have a good deep dive into the video. He's pretty cool and does take feedback well I've noticed

Thank you very much for the video! :) It helped me a lot to understand the issues in the game. They have already been fixed, and the update is now available. Please let me know if it’s better now.

I also love how realistic it feels! Also love the fact that the fish are normal scale and not overly weighted. It nice when a big fish catches you by surprise!

Definitely should keep it this way :)

Bites on feeders seems good now and the resolution bug is fixed to.

Thanks

it would be nice if using RodPot could be made a bit easier. Putting down the rods by pressing 1-3, for example, would be very convenient

I'll use KpShamino's video as an example (from minute 10) I hope that's okay, it saves me a lot of writing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWkJmHHinf8&t=42s

as you can see here, with the Rodpot you can currently only fish directly in front of the rods without casting far, that works great (if you want to level up quickly or need money)

BUT as soon as you use more than two rods and cast them further (anything over about 15m) fishing becomes very difficult and you lose a lot of fish without having the time to strike.

At the moment this limits you to fishing directly in front of your feet.

I know that work is already being done on this, I'm looking forward to the next updates :Speech_Love:

edit: the problem is only when you fish with smaller hooks, if you use the biggest ones, it works very well

The problem is the bite rate being too high, and I don’t really like it. I want to make the fish biting process more realistic so that each fish species feeds according to the time of day, weather, and depth. However, this requires descriptions of the fish, so players know when a particular fish feeds and at what depths it can be caught at certain times of the day and in specific weather conditions.

As for the rod holders, I can work on making it possible to place the rod using a button, but the keys 1, 2, and 3 are already reserved. Perhaps (Shift + 1, 2, 3) could be used to place the rod in a specific slot on the holder? To pick up the rod from the holder, we could use (1, 2, 3).
My answer is yes to being more realistic 😊

Could be worth setting up a fish info page in the game or something like that.

Example
(picture of fish)
Carp
Bottom feeder in the cold top water in the heat but slower bitrate when raining and at night. Loves natural and artificial bait (boilies/pellets).
(min - max weight)
