Fix and Tweaks for Windows 8.1

Add/Edit the following lines in your game "Settings.cfg" file:

FULLSCREEN : 0 --- disable fullscreen (Windows 8 fix).
GFX32 : 0 --- disable 32bits color (performance tweak).
PICKUPANIM : 0 --- disable pickup anim (optional)
WAITRETRACE : 0 --- disable vsync (major performance tweak)
SOUNDQUALITY : 1 --- low quality 2D audio (performance tweak)

Run the game!

Windows 8 fix #2: If you want to play with fullscreen enabled (FULLSCREEN : 1) you need to enable the 32bits color (GFX32 : 1)

Describe the problem. The game crashes? Freezes during the loading screen? What's the problem?

Try to enable the Windows XP compatibility option. The fullscreen and gfx32 setup is mandatory

Before I did those changes, the game crash in the charging screen; now it charges perfectly. But when the game starts, the images when the character moves or i start to fight doesn't look good. It makes big lines more or less, like textures doesn't work. It's very difficult play it in this form :s

What's your graphic card?

Update your VGA drivers.
In your VGA control panel, disable any forced effects, like Antialiasing, Anisotropic filter and V-Sync.

I have the same graphic problem. but i can`t do anything with it. i just don`t know how.
I have rather good comp. I can play all new games with no graphic problems

in my game are graphic fails
i have windows 8.1 but all that i do the graphic fails be there

i tried to update my driver on the oficial site. I have NVidia.
Then I opened NVidia control panel and chose settings for Sacred only (not global settings). It helped.
