NoobQuestion: Skillplanning with randomised rune drops?
Hey everyone,
I've spent a lot of time playing diablo 2. I grabbed Sacred now for a few bucks cause it seemed fun and I've looked a bit for some guides. They do strangely enough give me skill plans/ skill advisement - how's that supposed to work if I can't choose which runes for my own class drop?
Thanks for any answers :)

You can find a rune master(or something like that) and trade in runes, 2 runes gives you another random rune(i dont recomend this) 3 runes gives you a random rune for your class and 4 runes gives you your choice of your own class rune. This is how you can get the runes you want. Also, runes can be added to weapons with slots so don't forget to look at the effects they can give, some of them can be rather useful.

Thanks :) I found out about the rune master myself after a bit of playing (though it always seems kinda wasteful to trade e.g. 4 fireball runes for one other battle mage one ...) but I didn't now about being able to add them to slots - need to try that out :)

By the way - can I retrieve the rune after putting it into a weapon/armor/... ?

Yep, you can but you can only take one item out at a Blacksmith's, the rest will disappear.

I've found that it's usually more beneficial to put powerful rings and pendants in armor, then just keep an eye out for armor that natively has +'s for certain skills/spells.

i want to note that you can trade ANY set of runes
there is no restrictions, you dont need it to be same runes or same class, just simply put any four random runes an get 1 rune of your choice
