[fixed]Sacred Gold Multiplayer Problem

so i bought Sacred Gold and wanted to play multiplayer with a friend but when i wanted to click on any of the three diffrent options the game crashes (the same by my friend) so does anyone have the same problem and is there a solution to this?

thank's for your help but i cant't even click on Local Multiplayer because the game just chrashes for no reason, i get no errors, nothing.

Hey. I just fix't it. it's so simple, just right click on sacred in your libary, go to the properties, go to local data and then check your game files. it will find some missing files and it will fix it.

Hey Atomic, I'm having the same problem, but when I validated the files and found some missing ones, I thought it would fix them. Then I'd try to press the LAN button, but it still crashes. Help??

i have the same problem, nothing helps...
i've i check the game files there is 1 broken file but its at least 0kb big...

Have you start steam with the option "Run as administrator" and then checked the game cache?

yes but every time i check the cache then steam sad 1 wrong file downloading again... 608kb or 0kb downlaoded... but nothing changed...

It's a problem that the files are still corrupt.

Maybe it works, if you clean up the steam cache:

install, run, and join the sacred channel in tunngle, even if youre on the same physical network already. then in the game options switch from dsl/cable/lan to modem/isdn. yes it might sound counterintuitive. but the game was primarily developed around moden/isn play, not dsl. and in addition the way windows and routers handled dls back then was drastically different from now.
