Sacred Gold

Sacred Gold

Build question
So, I played this ages ago when I was younger and got it again on Steam now, back in the day I was just randomly leveling up and all that, but now I'm curious, what are some good builds for Vampiress, Demoness and Elf lady?

Like, what traits should I prioritise on level up and such, what combos would work better than just randomly putting them, or weapons and armors, if they drop in certain places.

Sorry, I don't remember much of the game, so if none of these apply to this game, sorry for my ignorance.

This is the kind of game you can just go and play, no need for guides or whatever and as you play you will learn and start liking some abilities and stuff then you can just restart and make more refined character and go at it this way.

I got some screenshots with my vampiress, you can take a look at those if you want though.
I also left a message describing my character here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/12320/discussions/0/2934616148072352240/

I agree. The runes drop often enough that you can experiment with each skill, then start investing in your favorite ones. Just collect any runes you don't like or can't use (because they are meant for another character) and trade 4 of them to the wizard to get one that you like.

As for gear, you should check the vendors regularly for that chance that they might have one really fantastic item for you that you didn't get from monster drops.

I'd say it's more fun to grind the gear but early in the game vendoring may be of use to help you survive packs. The thing i noticed about vendors that may be of use to know is: They refresh their stuff every time you talk to a different vendor. So, if you have 2 vendors nearby you can refresh their stuff continuously till you get bored.

True about the vendors. I was assuming that the player would be getting most of their gear from enemy drops, however, sometimes you just aren't getting what you expected to get at a certain point, and when you check the vendor - there it is. I've gotten a lot of really good stuff from vendors. It never hurts to check.

There are several builds available at the Dark Matters Forum.

You do need to sign up to that place though.
