'Unknown Warrior' quest lost the guy.

Hello!

I did the first part of the Unknown Warrior quest and after I came back I took the guy with me through the portal in the dessert, there I went and did some sidequests and I lost him somewhere near the river and the sea, near those big cave creatures that stun you. Now the quest is still blue but I can't find him anywhere.

I put a lot of time in Sacred 1&2 and finally gave up because the games do not play well on new systems and have lots of bugs so I think you should find some other game to play

hahaha it works really well for me, I found out it was a bug with an out of order quest, yeah I guess it happens. This is one of my childhood's games that's why I bought it on steam so yeah, thank anyway :)

Well, yeah, some qusts are kinda buggy. One of them "Whispering something something" - where you have to bring berries to the witch. DO NOT collect berries in burnt ruins before taking the quest.

One more - "The painting". Tried to take the quest and bring painting, take painting and then take quest - nothing. Can't finish it so far. Maybe I'll find some solution later.

I remember those two from back in the day when I played it hahaha, yeah they have issues with the order, but that's the only problem I have with the game.

The problem with this quest is that you have to complete it as intended (no portals, no rushing towards the quest marker on the map leaving the warrior behind, etc). i don't know what might have happened in your case, but usually as soon as you leave the area he stops where he is, so maybe he could be still in the forest. If you haven't already, I recommend trying to find him or loading an older save cause that quest starts a long quest chain which gives you some very good items.

It is too late to go back, as you said I lost him because he died and I rushed out of his sight.
I'll get him in the next playthrough though.

Quests Painting and Whisper of the Wind.
Both quests can be completed without a bug if you complete them before completing the main quest "For the King and the Fatherland!" (this is the transition to the lakatsya desert).
