Trading question

It's been a long since I played Sacred, and I forgot what does TRADING do? More importantly, What do numbers in "( )" mean ??? For example, one weapon sell price is 5000 but it's ( 15000 ) in "( )" ??

Edit: When I sell items, I never get gold from "( )" ??

Some people really like the skill, and say it improves prices and gives a better chance of a vendor selling good items. However, if you do a lot of quests and explore most of the map, you will usually get enough good gear and plenty of gold to buy the few good items that sometimes show up in the shops. I do check the shops frequently, because every so often they might have something really good, and I also frequently buy rings and amulets from them.

Ok, but what about numbers in ( ) ?

If the skill got I higher % of traders to sell better gear it would be alright, but if I remember properly it's only for increasing how much you get from selling, so it's mostly just a waste of skill points from my point of view. The () is most likely a certain percentage increase in price markup for selling and buying stuff.

I found on darkmatters. Sell price is between base one and one in "[ ]"

Trading is most important skill actually, because traders sell golden equipment if you max it out.

Trading is most important skill actually, because traders sell golden equipment if you max it out.

I mean kinda, but you can achieve the same effect with just saving before you hand in a quest and load until they give you a set item (that is basically the best type of gear in the game) and you could be using those skill points on combat skills and the like.
