Which one do I install for a first playthrough?

If you are only looking for a better look I find that the basic Sacred Gold got more or less an HD remaster with it's Underworld expansion pack. When playing with ReBorn HD (that is not just a retexture) the game is better in a good amount of ways but it's also harder then the base game, even on bronze difficulty (that is easy as pie in base game), with certain boss enemies like pure dragons being about 10 times more tough.
If you want a good overhaul that will make the game a bit more challenging (but not too much) and very slightly prettier take ReBorn HD. The other 2 you mentioned are more up to like comparing Minecraft texture packs, as they depend on what you prefer in my opinion.

I was playing RebornHD and it is good, but I miss the original vanilla, with that necesity of collect runes.

So, which is better, or is more complete, to have the original feel but with better graphics, Sacred NL or PureHD?

The graphics in NL and PureHD are exactly the same, the difference is NL also adds new elements to the interface and QOL changes, while pureHD just changes the resolution and nothing else. I would recommend trying out NL, and then downloading pureHD if you dislike NL's changes

None of them seem to fix video playback and loading screen horizontally stretched, unfortunately

Unfortunately, since the loading screen is a static image, the only way to increase its resolution would be to remake it from scratch. Same applies to the videos, sadly. On the other hand, I'm glad that at least the game itslef can now run in modern resolutions.

Indeed I just re-edited those images under PAK (loadgame.bmp, LoadingUW00.bmp, LoadingUW01.bmp, savegame.bmp) converting them from 1024x768 (4:3) -> 1024x576 (16:9)....
And I also fixed all videos WMV in movie\ with ffmpeg.exe + Shutter Encoder GUI (640x480 4:3 -> 640x360 16:9)

if you managed to make a fix, maybe you could try writing a steam guide about it, or uploading on the sacred discord. I'm sure many other players would love this

I'd like to make a guide with a complete 16:9 fix including cutscenes, and EAX to enable 3D max audio settings. I have everything running... But for a guide I'd need videos from all languages (I use Italian CD retail version from good old FX Interactive)...

What about a written guide, without videos? btw, FX interactive is the GOAT

Yes, I'm considering writing a guide with the instructions...

Among the ones I tried, the one that was closest to vanilla balance and had the best graphics was the Raven Rock Mod.
