This modder is working on creating true HD/widescreen resolutions for Sacred, and he's already made great progress.

Other "widescreen" projects just tell you how disproportionately stretch the game across your screen, distorting the image. This is the real deal.

Software like dgvoodoo only stretch the image of your screen, and although for some it's a viable solution, this project can be a true solution to the resolution problem. I hope that this mod can work not only with the Russian version.

Wanted to play Sacred again but I remembered that Steam version was kinda crappy in case of performance. This mod looks better and works smooth!

I downloaded the mod but can't find the manual. Where is it? I'd just looove if I could get this to work!

I've downloaded the mod. started up the Sacred ReBorn exe, it shows in the menu alright, but when I start to play, its still the same resolution. :'( Any help would be much appreciated :)

4. Enable HD resolution (demo)

To enable HD-resolution in the game folder in the “Settings.cfg” file (you can open it with a standard notepad) add the line “WIDESCREEN: 1”. The value “1” includes widescreen resolution, the value “0” returns the standard resolution.

IMPORTANT: This is a demo version, so some elements may be underdeveloped. At the moment, the start menu, the character selection screen and in-game screenshots are unfinished.

Adding widescreen does nothing. I installed the beta its useless doesn't work on win 10 1909.

If someone could translate the project page it would help. I've tried a few things and using the shortcut it creates I get nothing. running from the folder nothing.

I did all of that with no luck. I put it in the sacred Gold folder. Like I said it doesn't work.
I tried everything I can think of. Maybe its win 10. I can't get it to work.

I just tried this now, as explained by 12grafia and it worked just fine on Win 10, booting the game with SacredReborn.exe.
