So its not a combo in the combo sense, but just used as a trick to circumvent the cooldown.

The only thing that second part does is make your TIV combo last longer so you don't have to recast it as often. But after 20 levels I think TIV (1 rune eaten no +CA) should always be up and you're never a 'knight'. And then when you get higher level and more Vampirism you can eat more runes and it lasts longer per casting but still always up.
The above means that Concentration is a complete waste with this build because Concentration is replaced by Vampirism whenever you are transformed into a Vampire. In other words Concentration helps a 'knight' use hard hit (lowers cool down) but Vampirism and not Concentration helps the 'vampire' form use hard hit.
