Report a translation problem
There's a portal to the far right of the island taking you directly to the UW area.
The area you enter will be fenced off by some "magic" barrier, which will disappear the moment you talked to the ghost of Valor. After that it's simply following the arrow.
One piece of advice, if you're able to use another computer / laptop to keep the map of Ancaria at the Sacred Wiki open, do so as it shows how you need to progress through the campain.
Reason is that it does have some tricky waypoints giving you the impression you need to head to another direction as you actually have to move to.

I seem to remember we did that when playing at the MP servers when they were still on.
Given the length of the campaign, it may be a good idea to play it in SP first, to make sure you know which path to take.
