The Elements of Ancaria quest bug

When I kill the fire dragon Sirithcam, the red door which leads to the location with the Element and a portal will not open. I had the same problem with the game when I first played it in 2000's and unfortunately this bug is still present. Or maybe it's not a bug and there is a way to open that door? I don't quite understand it, because I watched youtube walkthrough and it all went pretty smooth for the player. At first I thought it might be related to the cursed gold (I picked it)?

Does anybody know if there is a way to complete the quest through a console command or something or might I do something to gain access through the door?

There are also minor bugs with quests, and a horse running backwards, but the main quest problem is the main issue for me.

It happened to me also when I played it years ago. I had to reload and fight the dragon again and then it opened. I don't know why this happens. Tonight I just killed the dragon in another playthrough and it opened ok and I also picked up cursed gold first so that had no bearing on it. What I didn't do this time was click on the door before I killed the dragon.

A tip for killing it is to pull it back to the first wall and stand behind the lava pool and use a bow. It will be just out of sight but you can still hit it. It won't be able to hit you with fire either. But it takes a long time to kill.

Me paso lo mismo, debes matar al dragón lo mas cerca posible de la reja de salida. Si lo matas cerca de la entrada del salón el juego se bugea a mi parecer, o se toma como que estas haciendo trampa.
