Machine gun enemies
No, this is not a post about the turrets that sit around shooting at you. Instead, this is a post about... every single enemy in the game.

I'm about 7 hours into the game and starting to notice a pattern in enemy behavior. This pattern is that every single enemy attacks nonstop like a machine gun and like 95% of them have armor so you can't stagger them with normal attacks. So what this means is: you have to watch your toes and can't get psycho murder all over the enemies so this is good, right? Riiiight? Yeah, kinda.

I know that this is a feature so you can engage with the pistol mechanic in order to actually stun the enemies and get some free hits but it starts becoming an issue when the following criteria are met:

1 - Every enemy has armor, even the most basic one.

2 - This is a game with RPG elements. You level up and get stronger, but even if you're at level 40 you still need to watch yourself when traveling around a level 20 area because you can't simply oneshot the enemies (unless there is a secret tech that I don't know about).

The point I'm trying to make is: combat is fun but sometimes it becomes a slog since I have to pay attention to every single enemy that's in my way, even the most basic ones.

I also forgot to mention another collateral issue that comes with this enemy behavior and that is: stunlock.

I've been noticing how easily you get stunlocked in this game because the enemies simply attack nonstop. The worst case I found so far is a bee enemy that comes out from a hive. It causes contact damage and once it touches you, it sticks to the character in a way that you get hit like 5 or 6 times out of a single interaction... and you also get poisoned.

My suggestion would be that some basic enemies should have that green armor bar removed or greatly reduced so it can be broken more easily by the sword
