I just mashed attack and ran backwards and forwards, then healed between phases.
I just got into the rhythm of hitting it once or twice and teleporting away from its attakc. Max coolant + the coolant chip meant I could teleport a LOT. None of the ground slam pellets got me because I was always out of range of them.
Don't mash the attack button. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. Not the other way round. :)
Used bomb chips, including bomb when hit. And I did the no wrench run.
Hit it normally, not up or down. Try to not overheat so there's always a dash possible.
just pogo offcenter and he cant hit you with pellets, with all sword upgrades and i-frame enchancement 5 hp is all you need. you can outdamage him cause he is voulnerable in phase transitions
