Scarlets dagger
I’m completely stuck. I have no idea how to progress. The guides I’ve read say I need the stuff the attic in Ivy’s room which I have and I go to the tomb and try touching the dagger statue but now I don’t know what to do next. Am I supposed to enter the realm game and play it at certain point or am missing a something entirely? Can please someone tell me what I am supposed to do next ?
And be descriptive as possible because I’m really lost.

If I remember right you have to click on Melkor's sarcophagus and enter his realm. There is 20 levels in all , and a short cut after the 8 level. Once you defeat the boss then you are closer to getting the dagger. (hint: the heart spell lets you by-pass some of the monsters:steamhappy: )

What does your journal hint say? If it's "Find the [True Silver Dagger] at Melkor's Tomb." you need to go to Melkor's Tomb and click on the glowing statue on the right (with forcefield around it). You'll click dialog "Reach for the dagger" and then when the scene loads of you with statue, click once and you'll automatically reach out for it and your MP starts to drain. You'll need at least 100 MP to not lose any HP, but it's OK if you lose HP as long as you don't run out entirely. Assuming you had enough MP/didn't run out of HP, you'll get the True Silver Dagger which you can then give to Scarlet back at the house.
If your journal hint is something else, check my guide under the Scarlet section:

The guide will also tell you how to unlock Melkor's Tomb location if you haven't already (see the Overworld Map section).

To be clear, you enter Melkor's Tomb location but NOT Melkor's Realm/Domain (the sarcophagus). You don't need to progress in the dungeon to get the dagger. You don't even need to have unlocked Erza.

No worries. I had misinformation in my guide for a time since I made some assumptions about stuff and had to extensively test to determine the real triggers for things (like Scarlet or Merah showing up, etc.). There's a surprising amount of stuff going on in this game, so easy to get things mixed up.
