Stuck in the main story line

Pardon but does anybody know how to get to the last two areas's of the game one the north area which to me seems to be a castle or manor and the one directly due east and looks like a mine i can't figure out how to get to them, and i could really use some help please and thank you.

You first need to open the church. This is done by proceeding with the brothel quest line. The other one won't open until near the end.
