spare key help!

i have the clock key but it still wont let me give her the spare key ? how do i do this?

You give her the spare key at a specific point, until then it just sits in your inventory.

If you're already at the point where you need it, talk to her in the garden not in her room.

Go to the bedroom and open the chest by the door to get the spare house key
