ulg just so salty at the quality of games coming out elusive to men. Sure iknow this game would be double the size if both options were available, Still doesn't make it sting any less,
especially when you consider the rest of the gaming landscape.
Whatever, ill just have to stick with the strange corruption games coming out of japan... Its funny how they are mostly designed for men.. yet are the only games too have female protagonists lmao. While yah most of the scenes are drawn for the male gaze, alot of the writing is absolutely for us women(helps that i'm bi). Why cant we get something like that here in the west - -

Her point wasn't that the game's... "conquests" for lack of a better word were women, but that the main character has to be a man.

Also there are porn games in the west now have female MC options or female MC's. "Huniepop", "Cloud Meadows", "Scarlet Maiden", "Flipwitch" are all great female-option or female-led Western porn games.

"HushHush" is also super good if you're into more of a resource-management visual novel type thing.

id recommend you click on the Publishers on the store page, Critical bliss
they have several games where the main protagonist is a woman
also pixel art style, scarlet maid, tower and sword, midnight castle succubus
i wouldnt say theyre catering to either male or female

Doki Doki Triline is a really good pixelated game with female protagonist, its not released on steam yet but u can buy it on Itch for 10, its really good, better than it seems on the store page ill tell u that much
its not yet finished, but for 10 bucks you get a whole lot and the promise of more to come, def recommend this one

FlipWitch is a good platforming game where you play as a female able to turn into a male, so im guessing that works well with you being Bi

Female protagonist is its own genre you can look in so it shouldnt be too hard to find these games anywhere, but i def understand the struggle as most of m are still catering to men
but check out Itch.io, theres plenty of female protagonist games there, most of m are free

oh and if you like text based games, or havent even tried m, id recommend Corruption of Champions, it was actually recommended to me by a girl years ago
CoC1 is free on the devs website, CoC2 is on steam
CoC2 is better in every way, so see CoC1 kinda like a sneak peak to get a feel of it

Carnal instinct on steam isnt even closed to being finished but allows you play switch genders at any moment ingame, its pretty good, the promise of what itll be seems pretty good at least

That's the reality of indie games. I'm sure a lot of devs would give the option for the MC gender if they could do so without it adding a huge workload in the development process. This game has very detailed pixel art, which is why the animated scenes are more limited than the Live2D type games.
I would suggest simply asking for recommendations that cater more to your preferences over complaining about what this game is, though.
