Dragon's Lair to get the sword
So... I'm going through the runed rock thing with Kai to get the sword. I must say, this is the worst part of the game so far. The controls are...terrible. Like, truly awful choices about how to manage this section, and it is a very frustrating experience. Does anyone have any tips on how to manage this part?

The key to manage that part is to think in advance, and setting up the controls from the last to the first; you must imagine what type of action you would do in certain situations, and place the controls in agreement with that, but in reverse. You can't pause Kai's movement, but in certain part she is moving back and forth, so you have the time to place all the controls you need..I found that part interesting, it reminds me of an old game (Lemmings). Have fun!.

Yeah, I can see that. But the speed of it, the inability to pause, the way the screen moves and alters your placement of the movement triggers, it's horrible.

If you plan it correctly, you can easily avoid dropping commands while moving, which I agree is not a great plan. :) You don't need the ability to pause. What you really need is the recognition of HOW the plan failed and how one might do things differently. And how to use the box areas efficiently in order to take the time to plan.

It's almost like a science experiment.

Yeah it's not difficult if you think it through. Write it down if you have trouble remembering, but there are very, very few parts where you have to put something down WHILE RUNNING. And those are generally just to get the gems (which you 100% don't need at all)
