I lost my save :-(

I play this game like one hour a week. I slowly progress through the career mode, step by step. An hour ago, I started my game as usual and everything was lost ! My whole progress on the career mode was gone, I had to restart from zero. I'm sad about that. I like this game, and I want to see the end of the career mode, but our time is counted on this planet, I value mine too much to spend 12 more hours to do it all again so I can continue from where I was...

I immediately launched my girlfriend's computer (I'm playing on it sometimes) to see if my save was still there, but, because of the steam cloud I guess, it was deleted too....

I was just entering the frozen area, which I believe is the "before-the-last" area of the career mode.

I searched in the documents folder, I searched also in localdata/roaming, did not found any save file related to beach buggy racing. Where are the save files located ? Maybe I can try my old laptop, I remember I played the game on a long time ago...

Even better, does someone has a save file to share ? Anything would be awesome, really. I don't want to give up on this game, but boy I will NEVER do all the missions again.

Maybe a trick to get my old save back ?

If not, is there cheat codes, anything that can make me unlock the missions of the career mode ?

Ok, if anyone else falls in the same situation, I might have found something. Here it goes : it seems the steam cloud keep tracks of older save files and archive them. You just have to go to the following link to get them back :
https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp/
I have 38 save files for Beach Buggy Racing 2 so it seems BBR2 keeps a lot of - if not all - the save files we've done. It's more than enough to backup haha.

Now, I just need to know where to put the save file.

Does not help me as much as I'd like to, though. It's kind of messy and I don't manage to make it work. No matter what I do, my career mode starts from zero...
