What difficulty do you play on?

TL;DR - What difficulty do you play on, and how's it feel?

Hey, everyone, thanks for playing Beach Buggy Racing 2 and giving us feedback.

We've been working on the difficulty lately, and we'd like the final game to feature 4 difficulty levels that feel distinct from one another, cover a broad range of skill sets, and help players improve and transition to higher difficulty levels.

So, for Career and Championships and Single Race, what difficulty do you use? Did you try any others? Did you play on a lower difficulty for a while and turn it up? What made you realize you wanted a bigger challenge? How'd it feel when you switched? Any special rules you like to set up every time?

Personally, I play on Ludicrous to challenge myself as much as possible. I like 3x ability uses because it gives you more opportunity to cause a huge upset with your driver's special. And for Championships, I choose to keep powerups for the next round, because it can add some extra strategy from round to round.

I tried fast in the campaign but then it seemed as if my car was still slow but the others were much faster making it virtually impossible so i stuck with normal, on quick race i stick to ludicrous because being more fast is fun

speaking of difficulties, I was doing the racer challange to unlock a new character in the campaign (the wrestler) and he seemed to randomly get big speed boots or even teleport ahead or samething making him extremely difficult to beat even on relaxed

The difficulty is well dosed in solo play in the first levels, but then it's hell. You spend your time getting caught in missiles, traps, spells, and in the end, the pleasure of the race is ruined. You just try to finish by resisting the temptation to swing the controller, with no hope of winning. You have to rebalance that.

very hard on windows, it sometimes seems impossible but then you still win ...lots of fun :D

It sounds like you're talking about Adventure mode. Do you know how to change the difficulty? Depending on when you started, it may have defaulted to Normal difficulty. You can turn it down to Relaxed and see how that feels, then as you get better at the game, you can try to turn it up and see if you feel more in control.

In case you don't know, to change Adventure difficulty you go to Adventure from the main menu, then press Y (Xbox 360) to get to the Adventure options. Difficulty's the only option on the left side for now.

The relaxed difficult should be playable by KIDS !! This is ridiculous, even Adults cant play RELAXED !! So much of confusion ! please nerf the relaxed difficulty

Specificaly talking about the BeatBot in Castle !! I trired like thousand times in relxed every one is playing like apro !

well, after experience with game mechanics (especially the drift system) relaxed is playable by anyone, even very hard is still reasonable id say

The problem with the difficulty is mostly that the races against the AI are too much depend on luck. Even if you are a good driver who knows and can take all shortcuts, even if you use your items and special very well and tactical, you still need a lot of luck to finish first on many tracks on higher difficulty. In Mario Kart it isn't like that. Not of that extent. The game would be more fun, if the player had more control over the outcome of a race.

most of the time i play 500hp/1000hp however Adventure mode i have locked on Very Hard not less than that. 100hp i use only to faster complete challenges
