Y should be Triangle and X should be Square.
I'm looking a way to change difficulty with keyboard though.
Using the keyboard you can bring up the difficulty menu using 'Q' 'E' 'W' 'A'. This is because the ui buttons are currently mapped to the keyboard in the following way:
"ButtonA" : "ENTER"
"ButtonB" : "ESCAPE"
"ButtonX" : "A"
"ButtonY" : "W"
"ShoulderL" : "Q"
"ShoulderR" : "E"
"Start" : "SPACE"
Keep in mind that this is the current non-configurable PAX version of the keyboard controls, and we're talking about a PAX-only cheat menu. This will change and be more flexible with a future update during early access.
