Changing difficulty
I read something about a combination of keys to change the difficulty. But I don't get it. Can someone explain to me how that works? I might be very easy; I just don't get it.

I may be stupid or something, but what does 'left shoulder' or 'right shoulder' mean? May be because I have a PS4-controller and not XBOX, which the Y an X refer to.
idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's work for me. The left and right shoulder is the powerslide and accelerate button

Shoulders are the smaller buttons on top of the controller. Trigger are those bigger one on the bottom of the shoulder. Controller can detect the pressure applied to the Trigger and transfer it to the game, but not sure in this one because I'm just using a generic controller.
Y should be Triangle and X should be Square.

I'm looking a way to change difficulty with keyboard though.
Thank you, CatChu. I did it wrong all together. It now worked, so I'm grateful for your contribution.

Hey guys! Thanks for figuring this all out and sharing info. The version you're playing now is basically the PAX demo, with those controls hidden with the controller code. In some not-too-distant release we'll include a setting screen that just lets you change it.
Can we change the difficulty with only a keyboard?

Hi Blue-eyed,

Using the keyboard you can bring up the difficulty menu using 'Q' 'E' 'W' 'A'. This is because the ui buttons are currently mapped to the keyboard in the following way:

"ButtonA" : "ENTER"
"ButtonB" : "ESCAPE"
"ButtonX" : "A"
"ButtonY" : "W"
"ShoulderL" : "Q"
"ShoulderR" : "E"
"Start" : "SPACE"

Keep in mind that this is the current non-configurable PAX version of the keyboard controls, and we're talking about a PAX-only cheat menu. This will change and be more flexible with a future update during early access.
