When's online coming?

If we wanted online multiplayer, we'd have to seriously rethink the vast majority of the game's core design, and then it simply wouldn't be Beach Buggy anymore. We've put a strong focus on creating a compelling couch-multiplayer split-screen experience with a wealth of customization options and a full-featured career mode where your friends can easily jump into the game and help out. In addition, Steam has a great Remote Play feature that allows you to play online with friends, using only a single copy of Beach Buggy Racing 2. They talked about it before, they said they're not going to do that.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I would be curiuous to know how the android asynchronous multiplayer feature works. I guess it must be a combination of human and ai. How real is it?
Vector_Ian Mar 26, 2020 @ 11:11am
Mobile play is always a single player playing locally against AI. We populate the AI with names, car/driver combos, paints/decals and powerup loadouts from real players around the world, to give an idea of what others are playing with as well as some sense of community.

Of course, the console version will be very different from the mobile version.
Vector_Ian Mar 26, 2020 @ 11:21am
There are also tournaments, which are another form of asynchronous multiplayer. It's a leaderboard where you compete in various modes and set a score, which is compared to other players's scores.

Many thanks for the clarification. You should really explain that also in the game description.

The multiplayer split screen Kart Racing focus is why I am so excited about this game. BBR1 on XBoxOne is outstanding, inexpensive and wildly underrated. Please VU take your time and you will own this genre :)

Thanks a lot, we do try, after all! We're making some important changes that we hope will really tighten up the core game formula, so stay tuned and let us know what you think.

I think it'd be fun to have a online multiplayer anyway. I love Couch Co-op and i think Remote play is a very nice thing, but i'd like to have some online multiplayer too :) - Maybe combined with split screen. Will it come?

Beach buggy will be beach buggy that we know even though generations has already changed drastically and also even though beach buggy make a synchronous online games. We should to say that we must to follow the technology and what a players want.

In asia region, we play a synchronous game online since 2010s. You can learned from riptide gp renegade on synchronous game online and adapted to beach buggy. It make a great integrated in synchronous game online

Don't think about the money because money can you find it anytime and anywhere, but the happiness from gamers hard to find it.
