This or Remnant 2?
I can not find anything that compares this game with Remnant 2.
I think both games are very similar.
So witch one provides better gameplay mechanics!?

not similar.
Remnant 2 is a soulslike, this is more of a free-roam adventure RPG with combat along the lines of FF16.

ok, I need someone who played both and can tell which of the two has a more fun game design and combat system!?
I get it story wise both are not really recommendable!?

If it's one or the other Remnant 2 is definitely the better game.

This game just ♥♥♥♥♥ up too many of its fundamentals. The camera and target locking are frustratingly clunky for a game where that's the most important thing to get right.

If you want to shoot and use abilities and have the option to join random co-op games... Remnant 2.

if you feel like looking for treasure and enjoy mobility and fiddling with perks and abilities... Atlas Fallen.

I've played both, both are kind of "good enough"

it's Remnant 2 and it's not even close.

Remnant 2

Depends on if you like hard souls games but overall Remnant 2 is clearly a better, more polished game.
If you are going to play with a friend, both are good tbh. We had great fun with my friend in this game while exploring map flying, sliding and dashing around. Combat is also not great but good.

I figured so much best thing to help me was if I wanted to smash and slash with melee weapons and skills or rather use actual ranged weapons (Remnant 2).

Remnant 2 is my favorite game this year. If you like games in that genre at all, give it a try. IMHO, it's one of those games that benefits from using a wiki after playing for awhile since there is so much content to uncover, but of course some folks prefer to play it totally blind as well. With regard to performance, I've had good luck since launch but others had some difficulties. I've had worse luck with this game's performance. It seems to run at 60 FPS, but regardless of whether I use FSR or not, there are microstutters that happen periodically, more in some areas than others.

Also, there have been several patches to Remnant 2 already, so overall it is in much better shape than this game (at least currently). Have fun!

Cheers,

H

Remnant 2. But be aware that the game has a trait cap of 60 points (I think new patch made it 65 instead not positive). If you played the original you know that there was no cap and you had all perks active at the same time. They switched it up this time. The cap just limits the whole re-rolling your campaign thats possible in game so you can get all the loot. For example you can accidentally max out your point cap by joining folks games and helping them beat bosses you have become good at. I've made a few characters and have all the items (that are known at least). So for me it's severely limited in comparison to the first game and I feel like I get punished by enjoying co-op playing. You of course dont need to spend the points and can respect them. But it drains the fun. It's also caused a stir cause it's a game you're supposed to use dlss Or equivalent in order to get good performance. It's unreal engine 5 and does look great, but it doesn't use lumen or any ray tracing. There is nanite though.

Also this game doesn't have match making which is just insane and I can't get over it.

both are different types of games. I have remnant 2 and I spend about 50 hours so far in it. Ive got Atlas Fallen yesterday and played it for 5 hours. its solid game, combat is not that ez as it is in remnant 2, but I can already tell, that I will finish this game as well.

Remnant 2 or even Remnant from the Ashes. This game has been okay so far, Remnant is the more fun game in my opinion.

I am just a bit wondering! This game got so many good reviews and yet it really is not that good! Like compared to the very good reviews it got!
Am I missing something?

Check out ACG and mortismal gaming for trusted reviews. Acg actually liked it but acknowledged its lackluster. Also yeah if you haven't played remnant 1 first get that and all the dlc. It's better than 2

I stopped YT sub ACG like year ago... He stopped to be trusted for me, and became more complaining just to complain... And his taste became different than mine.
