Why mixed reviews?

I see people have different opinions, some say that it's very good game, some say that it's meh.
I wanted from it an exploration and fight, and the world looks really wow, yet fight seems kinda spongy.
I'm gonna check gameplay and think about it myself

Most reviews are played just 20 minutes and decided its bad. Yes its not perfect I also agree with that first 30-40 mins of the game is a bit off, after that it gets better. It should be between 65 70 on metacritic. I'd took that for reference, 40/100 way too low for this game, also there are some haters you know.
Btw performance is good on PC. Thats a big plus for PC games these days.

yep it's bad timing for them to release that game, It should have been release on May as it is. They delayed it to august and worse happened. I think this game will took more attention with future discounts and possible game pass addition. Still not many people talking about co-op but I think it is where this game shines.

The game kind of delivers the same type of experience as Forspoken. If you enjoy speeding/sliding around and killing stuff and do not expect more than that there is fun to be had. If you do not like repetitive open world stuff, samey enemies, samey quests etc it is best to stay away. It is a solid 6.0-6,5/10 game, bad time to release it though.

you mean when it comes to rpg? yeah people are going trash it, and the usual comparing NV with the last bethesda game etc. but it's Bethesda, they always deliver something that ends up being great in the long run. So I trust them

More or less, it's true because we are also getting Armored Core 6 and people will be so obsessed comparing it with Dark Souls so it would be the new topic for a couple of days, but BG3 is a 100 hours game, and I imagine that the player base will be for a long time 20k like Cyberpunk or Witcher 3.

Author, I am enjoying this game. It gives me vibes of Shadow of Mordor and a bit Hogwarts Legacy too.
The world map is huge and there's a lots n lots of things to explore and plenty of unbeatable wild creatures too along with quests.

I don't know what people are saying here about forspoken, never played that game.

Yes, Shadow of Mordor was my first association when I completed the tutorial and entered the open world.

It's got the usual soulless woke crap at its core. DEI/Intersectionality and that above an actual gripping story. Just pay attention to how white male NPCs are portrayed. It's so obvious the values the creative team has.

For some reason Fromsoftware fans tend to flock to games of this developer, and they all love to hate on them for not being the next Dark Souls.

BG3 has turn-based combat, which makes game oriented to a very niche audience. As for Armored Core 6, the mecha combat genre in general has been all but dead for decades, and not even Fromsoftware is going to resurrect it. Especially with another niche game.

Life must be hard for all the right wingers crying over every game on the market now. I guess it best to just go back asleep and forget about entertainment all together.

It getting harder to see what a game even about form a player point of view, like it real non biased story, game play, etc when it is to many posts crying over crap most of us do not care about.
