What? You don't even need to see whats on your back due to the warnings you just literally parry or dash once you see some red sing around your character.
Camera is not a problem, there are several universally acclaimed games with far worse camera lol
You seem to not understand....THe Quest does not progress. Its stuck and nothing happens, in other words, stuck / block / softlock, cannot get it to move to next stage.
Sorry no, I just answered the wrong thread lmao.
After I headed first to the other ruins and triggered a dialog from Nyall, and then went to the quest marker everything progressed and there was no issue.
Really weird though lol

Thanks a lot for the bug report, it's definitely a strange behavior.
Would you, by chance, remember the order in which you did things related to the Forgotten Realm quest, before the bug happened?
For example if you entered the Source area and exited it without completing an arena, or did anything that strays from the basic quest flow.

Hi, so the steps I took were:
1. Got the "Forgotten Realm " quest.
2. Entered the area through the portal .
3. Headed immediately to the quest marker that pointed at the statue.
4. Activated it the statue
5. First fight went without issues. Got introduced to the new powers with tutorials etc.
6. Completed the first fight and the quest updated and asked to check the statue again.
7. Went to the statue and ACtivated it
8. Nothing happened.
It does keep happening a lot each time I enter the realm, what I noticed compared to it working is:
When it breaks and I press E to activate the statue, it like "fast shifts" me to the position in front of the statue and nothing happens.
When it works, it does not shift me, but Nyall walks slowly to the spot and the dialog begins.
Generally have to restart the game each time it happens.

When the issue happens, is your character locked in place? Or can you run around in the arena, while being soft-locked?
To rule out performance as a factor, could you please post your PC specs, as well as the settings that you use?
(Settings can be copy-pasted from settings.json at C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Atlas Fallen).

I am having these same problems. Even when I reload the game I am able to interact with both the blue and orange part, but the orange part refuses to light up again.

had same error. Playing xbox game pass version on pc. what i did to fix it was :
navigate to where game is installed in bin folder. then run the DX12 version of the game. load game outside the rift (not sure if it works with loading already inside). and the statue worked normally.
2nd rift worked fine running all the time vulkan version.
rest i have not done yet.
It also destroys the game saves. I can no longer load such a savegame in the Vulkan version of the Black Alm. Meanwhile, the game freezes immediately after loading a savegame.
Hello, same bug here.
Same steps from 1. to 6., but i don't get the prompt at step 7. to activate the statue, therefore im blocked on the quest's progression. Orange walls prevented me to go else where, relaunching the game make them disappear but i still don't get the dialogue prompt with the statue.
Too bad, for me it happened at the very last step of the quest...

Have you tried reloading a savefile from before the fight, and re-completing the fight before the interaction with the statue?
