Controller input delay

So. No matter which controller i try, ps4, ps5 or xbox have input delay on my attacks. it is so bad that sometimes it does not registrer and other times it registers as a heavy attack. if i switch to keyboard and mouse it works completly fine with no input delay.
Tried adjusting several things, but to no avail.
a friend of mine bought it for us to play co-op and his controller works fine.
Anyone else have any advice on fixing this issue.

Are your drivers up to date?
Have you checked the USB cable used and tried another one just in case? Have you tried every USB ports?

Thanks for looking into, but yeah, drivers are fully up to date.
And seeing as i tried with 3 differrent controllers with all three uses different cables (different usb-c/mini cables). All 3 being plugged into different usb ports and all controllers having no issue on other games i use them on currently.

So yeah, these aren't the issues.

so wanted to give and update. recently upated some computer hardware and wanted to test if the game now could run properly. but alas, controller delay, spesifically for attacking has about a 1 second delay. when i try it on keyboard and mouse this issue does not who up.
