No difficulty achievements?

Why aren't there any achievements to complete the game on the hardest difficulty?

I hate it when games don't have difficulty achievements. Generally it is done specifically so people who can't be arsed to beat something on high difficulty can still get 100% despite it being even more meaningless without some semblance of challenge.

They don't deserve 100% and should be penalized for playing on a easier difficulty.

Won't purchase this game without a difficulty achievement. Will hold off and see if one is added for the hardest.
