So, it seems the game is only reporting 120hz. When i use "application controlled" Vsync in Nvidia settings and then enable Vsync in game, it locks my FPS to 124, which means the game is only running at 120hz. It SHOULD be 165 as my monitor is 165hz. Vsync is supposed to lock your FPS to the monitors refresh rate, not 120. So no matter what we do, the game never goes over 120hz.
Tried the same with this one, didn't work. Tried the 60 fps cap, didn't work. Now I just capped it at 120 and it feels the most responsive but still not as smooth as it should be.
Read in the other threads that LSFG is the only way to fix this but that sets up a bad precedent with these games. We already have all the new games rely on upscalers like DLSS and FSR for optimal performance, not we need external frame gen tools to make them feel smooth as well wtf?
First of all, thanks for your reports and sorry this hasn't been fixed any sooner.
It was something that took more time to fix correctly and safely. The fix is not in the latest hotfix (from yesterday), but our Tech team has already fixed it and the fix will be coming with our next hotfix. I'd expect this to be coming in on Steam relatively soon!
Thanks for playing our game!
Small patch just then, was that it? Because it feels exactly the same as before.
150+ fps feels like 30fps.
It's only taken 12 months for it be acknowledged and that its being worked on.
Looks like it takes a lot more time than expected.
Perhaps a further 12 months :)
