Stuck... Too hard...
I just started playing and after 3 hours I am already contemplating giving up. It was fairly easy up to the shell basher. After dying to it about 20 times, I switched to easy mode, but still can't beat it. My gauntlet is upgraded to 2 dashes and I have the second Tier armor upgraded to level 2. I wasn't expecting to hit a wall this soon. Examples of combat on line make it look easy. Sure, all you have to do is parry 3 times to freeze the damn crab, but it's easier said then done. I get hit in mid air and can't get up in time to parry, so my health is drained in like one minute.

Now for context, I can manage Monster Hunter World and Rise without too many issues. And those game have far more complicated mechanics. I beat Nergigante in 2 tries and Teostra after 3 tries using Insect Glaive. Not saying that I didn't struggle, but somehow I found pathways to a win.

Any suggestions???

from my own hitting-the-wall- experience with this game

i uninstalled and played something more enjoyable

i wanted to like this game but the instead of playing the game you start to fight with its "features" and "design" choices on top of clunky combat

unfortunately it's mostly skill based combat, and there's no cheating consumables that trivialise combat.

The crab is the most predictable of all enemies when it comes to parrying. Some attacks you should dodge and stay out of if not confident enough to parry but when he drops his claws 5 times in a row you should get your parries in there.

The monster spawns are the real difficulty as trying to manage a 3v1 is hard and i can't help much there other than to use your abilities to get rid of them as fast as possible.
