They say they've redone the entire beginning of the game and added new stuff to the first big area and throughout. I am waiting and will start a new game.
I'm wondering if I should buy and wait now, since is on sale but not sure.
If it costs more money later rather than now, is that a reason?
Well Lords of the Fallen received a huge update too, and I was planning to get it too.
It looks like both games are on the "mixed" score, but to me both look like a lot of fun...
You're only allowed to have one, is that clear?
I could technically buy both, but now I am trying to focus on one game, to 100% it all.
I think by the time that happens, one of the games will go on sale again.
I think I wait for Atlas Fallen 2.0 and a discount, hopefully people enjoy the update for this one.

If you want to get the most play time for your buck, then choose LotF. I have 80+ hours in Atlas and 120+ hours in LotF, one playthrough both, with full exploration and occasional farming/coop. Plus, LotF has 2 more endings and a lot more content with the latest updates. Nevertheless, I don't feel like going back to LotF, especially with the hardcore achievements added lately. On the other hand, I will gladly replay Atlas from scratch to see the new beginning and other changes.
Also, Atlas is much more optimised than LotF. I was able to run Atlas on max settings with my previous 1060 card, while 3060 still dips in LotF.

Hi ! In the trailer and in the news, if I'm not mistaken, there is no mention of a cross play feature. Should we consider it's off the table and Steam/ps5 friends won't be able to play together ?

Yeah I did hear LotF is a longgg game, and it looks very fun too, so I went with it.
Atlas Fallen is on my next target. Hopefully they still release one more optimisation update for LotF, but probably not... I think at least is now playable, compared to launch date.

No, they still haven't fixed the 'above 60fps feeling like ass' issue, despite multiple patches and complaints here. To me it's felt the same since launch and is only made better by Lossless Scaling framegen x3 (60fps--->180fps)

Eh, is ok I don't mind 30 to 60 fps... Back in Ps3 that was "normal"... I know that is not a standard for today (or it should NOT be) but I can deal with that. I'll try the game soon-ish.
