Idol missing after Co-op

Got this on PS5 to play with my wife but cannot find any official Discord or bug report so posting here.

I joined my wife's game from the very start and we got up to the first town last night and made sure the game auto saved at the anvil. There is an Idol in the chest just down the hill outside of the front gate of the town (Cannot remember the name of it) Well today I decided to play solo and started from the beginning with all my progress made in my Wife's game, as soon as I could check I noticed I only had the starting idol and just now I got to the town and opened that chest and all I got was tributes and a message saying I already have that item but it is not in my inventory.

Did it give you the option to save the world and character when you stopped playing coop?
It should ask you that and then when you try load upo your save it should give you a message "merging coop save"

Yes it did and I saved my character, I also now cannot access momentum gauge upgrades or perks on my single play but can on my multiplayer. it was Idol of shatter my wife still has it but I do not.

Were you both at the exact same point in the story before you started coop? and i mean the EXACT same moment / quest progress.

yes we started Co-op as soon as you could right when you stand up from the campfire to go talk to the 3 people and get food. Everything still works in multiplayer except I don't have that Idol (and various other bugs) but if I load that character in solo it is totally bugged and I cannot use the anvil for anything other than fast travel and saving.
