In addition to the main quest, there are also various side activities. How are these different from the side quests? Klose replies: "Besides many side quests, there are many puzzles hidden in the world. For example, you can purchase treasure maps that lead you to hidden riches... but sometimes the map is torn into pieces, so you have to do another round of treasure hunting first!

If you're concerned about game length, then perhaps play on the highest difficulty and don't speedrun the game? Just some food for thought.
Does this look like it can take 25-30 hours if you complete all of the side content? Is it even worth it since the main story gets you 12 hours of gameplay? Plus the world is emptier than Forspoken's world.
Yes. Probably more on higher difficulties and if the player is one to take their time with things.
Anyway, see you in Atlas Fallen, be it on PC on Steam and Gog or on console.
Bad argument really. 2023 movie, avg. length @ ~2 hrs. AMC non-matinee movie cost (~$15.00), popcorn or nachos (~$7.00), drink (~$6.00) for a total of $28.00 on 2 hours of entertainment. Multiply x6 for 12 hours, and the equivalent of $168.00 to watch movies over the same period of time. I get it, you can discount by going to a matinee and not buying over priced concession food & drink. Same here for the game, wait for it to go on sale in a few months.
Math is hard, getting a job would be easier. ;-)
Now, we already know that Atlas Fallen is a 50€ AA game, so manage your expectations knowing that.
As for the movie ticket comparison, the argument obviously doesn’t hold. I only see movies with my family of 3. We spend $75-$100 on a 2-3 hour movie. It’s still an enjoyable time, but I can buy a game for $10-$60 and we can all three play it for however long we want.
holy crap. I finally preordered yesterday. I figured if the game ran like ♥♥♥♥ i could still refund before 2 hours of playtime, but looking at this video, the game is not worth 50 bucks. I played so many games in my life, my usualy approach is 1€ = 1 hour of playtime to be worth it. some rare titles have a better ratio, most titles even come more as 1€ = 2-3 hours of playtime nowadays.
this one here costs roughly as much as monster hunter world/rise at release time, has less than half thecontent then those at release and those even had live service, adding a crap ton of content on it after release on a fixed schedule.
this game should be maximum of 25€....
the trailer made the boss fights look epic and challenging, but in reality they look like crap, bosses react like crap and its all just button smashing away. what a waste... refund
Bad argument. You are holding video games to the same standards are movies, which have completely different audiences and expectations. If people really felt this way, no one would be peeved by game prices increasing.
Adding in all of your lazy fatass purchases is a personal choice, too. You can't chose not to order popcorn with your game releases for a lower price. Again, these are completely different beats. Should we hold movie theater prices to the same standards as how much it costs to go snowboarding or skydiving? Stupid.
