Ubisoft in a nutshell, yet the likes of AssCreed and FarCry still selling loads of copies for some reason.
trashy trash Drimon is at it again.
Nah, I think they were using CS and DOTA 2 as a counterpoint to TC's assertion that "a captivating narrative is crucial to the success of any game".
On a similar note, the best-selling game of all-time (Minecraft) barely has a narrative at all.
A Action RPG needs a good Story and good World Building and Lore.
This is one of the biggest Points for a good RPG.
A MP Game or Survival Sandbox Game does Not need any Story at all.
Deck 13 biggest Problem with Surge1-2 and Lords of the Fallen was the Bad Story, ♥♥♥♥ NPCs and Bad World Building.
This is why FromSoftware Games are so great because the Story, Gameplay and World Building IS Just perfect
Lords Of The Fallen's main problem was the slow and clunky movement, not the story.
Not to mention most people play those types of games for the combat and level designs.
