Why do you need to hold mouse button down?
In this game, holding down the mouse button on icons to activate them seems completely unnecessary and just wastes time and induces RSI. Why is this necessary?

I felt the same way; personally think it makes it feel like a cheap mobile phone game.

Yeeh the game needs some options for the interface.

Yep, absolutely pointless to make me hold the button, one click should be sufficient.

Judging by the way the UI looks, it feels like the game was originally meant for a mobile platform rather than PC

I'd love some keyboard shortcuts too, like I for inventory, or just the ability to hit enter or space to OK. UI and lack of shortcuts lead me to believe this was originally planned to be on mobile or tablets.

I would say for consoles even.
Holding keys instead of just pressing them is usually made for PS and Xbox.

Not a big problem though, i bet it will be patched 99% as an option later.

P.S i would like to have such a game for Android though, games on mobile phones lack quality nowadays, all pay 2 win.

I don't think it's for mobile instead it was mean mainly for console, there are a lot of games for console that need to keep pressed the button, in pc you have destiny 2 that need the pressed button to, i think it's to avoid accidental actions, specially when your move is a valuable part of the gameplay

I would gladly buy this game again if it comes to Android(BUT only if it the same full game as on Steam and not some chopped up version full of microtransanction). I thought I saw Darkest Dungeon on Android but it was just another mobile clone. Games like Aria and Darkest would perfect for touch screen controls.
