Welcome to my world.

If you feel like you're grinding against immense amounts of discs, there's still a strategy to be figured out. Up to 20 should not have THAT many blades bouncing around when approached correctly.

It's doable, although it's really hard. Use Dash, get to 10 as fast as you can because I think the medium/small discs stop spawning then. Discs dont kill you for a second or two when they spawn and same thing for the 4 large ones when you get to 10. At the start I usually waited till the 4 large one spawned to get the 4 globes and dashed out of there. Also, the middle of those discs won't kill you.

Just did, it wasn't that hard honestly, just visually confusing at times. Now, any advice for First Blood dev time?

I would like to know that strategy to get to 20 because this is being painful to even try. Is there even a hidden trick or something like the Timeless room?

No--it is just painful. Doable, but painful. Took me over three hours to do.

The trick is picking up the orbs right away before the discs become solid, but after the last one has spawned so that the timing is synched, then dashing out. That should get you to 4 orbs instantly. Once you're at 10 the discs get damaged and stop dropping new orbs (until 20). Getting to 10 fast is crucial for making this doable.

There's a different strategy that's imho a bit better (although suffers from slower iteration time)

Ravenous antibody that spawns brown discs only spawns them during dashing. If you collect 4 orbs after antibodies leave the middle (there's a brief moment when you can do that right after first violet disc spawns) and you'll manage to collect the remaining 6 really quick (probably 1 out of 5-10 chance for this), you won't have to deal with brown discs during "phase two", which makes it way easier.

I don't know if this is supposed to happen but for me, doing this causes all of the antibodies to instantly spawn their minions. Instead, waiting until they move then walking over gives me more time before it becomes a mess and sometimes I can reach 'phase 2' without having any of the brown discs spawn if I get good RNG .

Either way, I'm pretty sure I've spent more time trying to hit 20s on this level than all of the rest of the normal levels and most of the hard levels combined. Definitely feels a bit too RNG heavy with orb spawns and disc pathing compared to the rest of the game.

Finally made it after a few hours. Thanks everyone for the help!

One last thing that might be helpful: The antibodies can't hurt you when they're playing their damage animation. Can make all the difference when grabbing an orb they're overlapping.

Like the level with the re-appearing tiles, it feels like you need to get lucky with the pickup spawns to stand much of a chance. If they all spawn in different corners or if the enemy keeps hovering above them, you may as well kill yourself.

With good timing you can pick up four pellets in the center in the first second, while still using the slow motion skill. Then you quickly run out of the bosses before your grace time runs out.

The slow motion skill speeds up your movement as well as makes the entire game move slower, so it's a good way to save time. Use it almost fully in the beginning while it's relatively safe to move around to quickly pick up as many pellets as possible, then let it recharge while using it sparingly.

A fast way to get a good start is to repeatedly run into the center, pick up four pellets, and if less than three pellets spawn in a little group, just run into the boss wall and try again.

Edit: Uff, 19 seconds. So close.

Just did it early today with the dash ability.

As Donitz said, there's a lot of luck involved in this one, if you get a good orb spawn pattern, you can easily enter phase 2 within 10 seconds, which makes the last part of the fight much easier as they don't spawn adds anymore.

Basically I would wait until there's 3 visible orbs in the middle, then run into them, dash my way out towards the closest orb and see where the other ones are.

If they're too far appart, I'd recommand to simply wipe and retry, same thing if at any point one of the cell stands on an orb. There's no point trying to wait for them to move as it will only make your life hell in the second phase.

If you manage to do this, the second part of the fight should be somehow okayish, just stay calm and take your time, there won't be new adds coming your way so simply wait for an opportunity to move towards orbs, dash when needed, and don't forget you can stand in the middle of cells if needed. Good luck !

For some reason, when using blast, 10 seconds only procs phase 2 for two of the antibodies. Another one procs at 12 I believe and the final one procs at 13. This may be a bug, but I'm not sure. They all seem to proc fine at 10 with dash.
