I get the different developers thing, but in the long run, I'd like to have this as paid dlc to compensate the additional effort and then you can sell game + dlc as eternity bundle.
Edit: I think I didn't word this very well. I do understand the reason and I get how the publishers just wanted to add to the experience. Having exclusive content on different platforms if the platform could handle said content is always a bad thing though and will always lead to some players being frustrated about being locked off of some content of a game they enjoy. Honestly I'd prefer if the original devs would have collaborated to release the new content on PC alongside consoles even if that means to delay the release of the second game for a few months. And I say this while still looking forward to the second game.
Hell, even my buddy who just bought the Switch version 2 weeks ago isn't getting this content, so both the PC and Switch fan bases are getting screwed over. Super lame decision, hope it gets changed in the future.
