Game freezes during Crystal Guardian fight

I'm fighting the Crystal Guardian near the end of the game and I just attacked the Broken Crystal (first I killed the other three crystals) and then the game froze, the music is still playing but nothing is happening.

Bug report I guess. I have to restart the game.

yeah, I've tried the fight a couple of times and I get the same problem. did you ever get a fix?

okay, I toggled some settings and I was able to get through glitch free. in General: Vesta Display - Off (I have no idea what this does); in Screen Options: Screen Mode from Full Screen to Windowed, Run in Background to Off; in Accessibility Options: Screen Shake - Off, White Flicker Off. I also left one crystal alive, but the first time it froze there were two crystal left, so it is probably a setting. hopefully this will help somebody else!
