Can't progress sidequest - A Will to Live

After the cutscene where the grand inquisitor left the abandoned home, I spawned in the inn, but my characters weren't visible, and the cutscene where Arlette runs away again to the Kortara Mountain Range never triggered.

I made the mistake of saving the game and reloading, only to find myself still bugged out. I managed to teleport out, but it seems I can't progress the sidequest anymore. I followed a guide on youtube as well, so I'm sure I arrived at the right location, but nothing happens when I get there. Any help would be great, thank you!
